Solidarity Stand for Palestine Organized by Pak-Turk Maarif International School

Islamabad - 16 May 2024 (Adnan Hameed): The Deputy Head of the Palestinian Embassy Mission in Pakistan, Nader Alturk, participated in a solidarity stand organized by Pak-Turk Maarif International School, Branch H8, alongside the esteemed Akila of the Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan, Ms. Meryem Paçacı. The event aimed to reaffirm support for the Palestinian people's struggle for freedom and independence, in accordance with resolution 194, and the establishment of their country with Jerusalem as its capital. During his speech, DHM Palestine embassy expressed gratitude for the solidarity stand, emphasizing its significance in demonstrating that the Palestinian people are not alone in their quest for justice. The event coincided with the 76th commemoration of the Naqbah, highlighting the enduring struggle of the Palestinian people in the face of adversity. The tents installed on the school campus symbolized the temporary residences of Palestinian refugees in 1948 and currently serve as shelters for those displaced by recent Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip. DHM Palestine embassy emphasized the global nature of the Palestinian cause, acknowledging solidarity stands organized by students in universities worldwide. The school administration expressed appreciation for the continuous solidarity events, noting their importance in raising awareness among young generations about the Palestinian issue. The events also serve to refute the notion propagated by Zionists that the Palestinian cause will fade with time. In closing, the solidarity stand reaffirmed the unwavering support of Pak-Turk Maarif International School for the Palestinian people and their struggle for justice and independence.
