China Cultural Center in Pakistan and Chinese Embassy Begin 2024 Silk Road Tourism Season
Islamabad - 8 July 2024 (Nasir Abbas) : The China Cultural Center in Pakistan and the Cultural Office of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Pakistan have officially launched the "Nihao! China" - 2024 Silk Road Tourism Overseas Promotion Online Season in Pakistan. This initiative, organized by the Network of International Culturalink Entities (NICE) in collaboration with the China Cultural Center, China National Tourist Offices overseas, the International Tourism Alliance of Silk Road cities, and cultural and tourism departments from 13 Chinese provinces, aims to promote the Silk Road spirit of "peace and cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, and mutual learning and mutual benefit." Running from June to October 2024, the event will feature various activities including a launching ceremony, global broadcasting of themed videos, the "Glory of Millennia - Silk Road Photo Exhibition," a cultural and tourism resources exhibition, and "Nihao! China" overseas promotion events. The Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Silk Road Tourism Overseas Promotion Season took place on June 24 in Sanya, Hainan, China, highlighting Hainan's rich cultural heritage, tourism offerings, and latest inbound tourism policies. This event seeks to expand Hainan's international tourism market and enhance precision marketing efforts globally.
