Ambassador of Kazakhstan Explores Collaborative Initiatives with National Language Promotion Department in Pakistan
Islamabad - 13 November 2023 (Adnan Hameed): His Excellency Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin, the esteemed Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, recently visited the National Language Promotion Department (NLPD) in Islamabad. During the visit, H.E. Mr. Kistafin engaged in constructive discussions with the Director General of NLPD, Prof. Dr. M. Saleem Mazhar, and Executive Director Dr. Rashid Hameed. The diplomatic delegation, which included Vice Chairman BOE Ahsan Shah and Executive Director Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram of the Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future, focused on bilateral collaboration. The key highlight of the discussions was the exploration of synergies between NLPD and the Kazakh Language Institute. The parties mutually agreed to foster collaboration through the organization of joint events, conferences, and seminars. Additionally, they expressed keen interest in facilitating cultural exchange programs between Pakistan and Kazakhstan. The dialogue culminated in a commitment to shared cultural and linguistic collaboration, aimed at strengthening the bond between the two nations. This visit marks a significant step towards enhancing cultural ties and linguistic understanding between Kazakhstan and Pakistan. The collaborative efforts between NLPD and the Kazakh Language Institute are expected to contribute to the promotion of both nations' rich linguistic heritage and cultural diversity.
