PNCA National Puppet Theater presents Story of Pakistan for Children
Islamabad(Adnan hameed)History of the land of Pakistan ranging from 7000 yrs ago Mehar Garh Civilization to 14th August, 1947 is presented in a very beautiful way through puppet characters , dance performances n songs presented through puppets. Major historical events including evolution of various religions, socio economic changes in the land of Pakistan such as Mehargarh civilization, harrapa, ayrans n vedik, invasion of alaxander the great , his encounter with porus , budh mat, Hindu mat n then introduction of Islam n evolution n promotion of Islam through Sufis and saints, establishment of Mughal empire, contribution of mughal, tughluq n babar ear in conquering sub continent, promotion of various fields if performing and various arts, architecture, and afterwards their decline , invasion by Britain Empire after east India company, Role of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan and Allama Mohammad Iqbal in awakening the Muslim nation, making them realized the importance of education to get their civil n fundamental rights n finally the role of our founding father Quaid e Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, world's largest immigration of any nation to live in their separate home land were presented through various scenes crafted on puppet characters n props used in these eras. Auditorium was jammed packed with audience who applaused every scene and performance of puppeteers though clapping. Audience has appreciated the contribution of National Puppet Theatre to keep alive the traditional form of puppetry, applaused the today's show n acknowledged the hard work of puppet team in their views and comments at the end of the puppet show.
