ISSI Launches Dr. Jaspal’s Book "Nuclear Arms Control in South Asia: Politics, Postures, and Practices"

Islamabad - (Connect Pakistan) : The Arms Control and Disarmament Centre (ACDC) at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) proudly hosted the launch of Professor Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal's latest book, titled "Nuclear Arms Control in South Asia: Politics, Postures, and Practices." The event, held at ISSI, featured distinguished guests including General (Retd.) Zubair Mahmood Hayat as the chief guest. Dr. Jaspal, Dean of Social Sciences and Professor at the School of Politics and International Relations, Quaid-i-Azam University, provided a comprehensive analysis of nuclear doctrines and postures of India and Pakistan, emphasizing the challenges and opportunities for arms control in the region.
