German Diplomat Found Dead in Islamabad's Diplomatic Enclave Apartment: Investigations Underway
Islamabad - (Adnan Hameed) : The Islamabad Police recovered the body of German diplomat Thomas Fielder, serving as the Second Secretary at the German Embassy, from his apartment in the Diplomatic Enclave on Monday. The authorities were alerted after the embassy staff reported Fielder’s unexplained absence from work for two consecutive days. Upon breaking into the apartment, the diplomat was found unresponsive. The Islamabad Police transported the body to the hospital for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death. Preliminary inquiries revealed that Fielder had previously experienced a minor heart attack, which may be linked to his death. The German Embassy has been informed, and investigations are ongoing to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
