Islamabad : 20 December 2023 (Adnan Hameed): In an exemplary display of diplomatic synergy, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, NI (M), Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), engaged in a productive official visit to Jordan. The highlight of the visit was a significant meeting with His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussain, where discussions transcended bilateral politico-diplomatic and military cooperation to encompass the prevailing regional security situation. During this momentous encounter, His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussain bestowed upon General Sahir Shamshad Mirza the prestigious 'Order of the Star of Jordan' medal. This distinguished honor serves as a testament to General Mirza's outstanding and meritorious services. The CJCSC also held separate meetings with Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hnaity, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff, Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF), and Brigadier General Muhammad Hyasat, Commander of the Royal Jordan Air Force.
