The state of the art Pakistan Monument first time illuminated in the colors of the Russian flag on Russian Flag Day
Islamabad - 23 August, 2023 (Nasir Abbas- Adnan Hameed) : The Pakistan Monument in Islamabad was illuminated in the colors of the Russian flag on Russian National Flag Day on 22nd August 2023 and the completion of 75 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Russia. A colorful ceremony was held at the Pakistan Monument on the occasion of the National Flag Day of the Russian Federation and the completion of 75 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Russia, in which the Russian Ambassador Daniela Ganich and the officials of the Russian Embassy and the public participated. On this occasion, Pakistan Monument Islamabad was bathed in lights matching the colors of the Russian flag while Russian Ambassador Daniela Genich hoisted the Russian flag along with Pakistani children and people. A large number of people enjoyed the event. Speaking on this occasion, Russian Ambassador Daniela Gench said that we are lucky that we have got the opportunity to work with Pakistan. Today is a historic occasion that the Russian flag was displayed in Islamabad. Furthermore, he said that the Pakistani flag was displayed on the Arbat buildings in Moscow on (14 August 2023) the Independence Day of Pakistan.
