Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar Fortifies Bilateral Ties with Kuwaiti Crown Prince
Islamabad - 29 November 2023 (Adnan Hameed): In a significant diplomatic encounter, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar engaged in high-level discussions with His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, today. Emphasizing the paramount importance of the relationship between Pakistan and Kuwait, the Prime Minister expressed a resolute commitment to advancing bilateral cooperation across a spectrum of sectors. He highlighted the mutual aspiration to deepen economic ties, spanning trade, energy, IT, labor, minerals, and investments. Acknowledging the robust collaboration at multilateral forums, the Prime Minister commended Kuwait's initiatives in recruiting Pakistani manpower, particularly in the fields of health, security, and infrastructure. In reciprocation, the Crown Prince echoed the sentiments of strengthened ties and affirmed Kuwait's leadership commitment to further enriching the multifaceted relationship with Pakistan. The Caretaker Prime Minister's two-day official visit to Kuwait aims at solidifying the foundations of this enduring partnership. The primary objective includes the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) in multiple areas, with the overarching goal of transforming the longstanding bilateral relations into mutually beneficial economic ties.
