Ambassador of Bulgaria Visits MOFEPT to Discuss Educational Reforms

Islamabad - 2 August 2024 (Adnan Hameed) : The Ambassador of Bulgaria to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Her Excellency Ms. Irena Gancheva, visited the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MOFEPT) today to discuss the ongoing educational reforms with Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, Federal Secretary MOFEPT. During the meeting, Gancheva and Wani engaged in a productive dialogue on the current state and future prospects of educational reforms in Pakistan. They explored various collaborative initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of education and professional training in the country. Gancheva expressed Bulgaria's interest in supporting Pakistan's educational sector, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in achieving sustainable development goals in education. She highlighted Bulgaria’s experience in implementing successful educational reforms and offered to share best practices that could be adapted to the Pakistani context. Mr. Wani welcomed the Ambassador's interest and appreciated Bulgaria's willingness to contribute to Pakistan's educational development. He provided an overview of the initiatives currently being undertaken by MOFEPT to improve educational standards and accessibility across Pakistan. He also discussed the ministry's plans to integrate technological advancements into the educational system to enhance learning outcomes. Both parties agreed on the need for continued dialogue and cooperation to address challenges and leverage opportunities in the education sector. They reiterated their commitment to fostering stronger bilateral relations through educational exchange programs, joint research projects, and capacity-building initiatives.
