“Flower Forever” a unique and exciting Art Exhibition by Syeda Alina Saeed kicks off at PNCA Islamabad

Islamabad - 6 August 2023 (Adnan Hameed): Pakistan National Council of the Arts hosted a unique and exciting Art Exhibition “Flower Forever” by Syeda Alina Saeed. Artist feel very close to nature and climate; specially flowers she believed that some flowers are to be preserved forever. At the moment the most people can do is to make pot purees for themselves which don’t last for more than a month; special flowers like one’s wedding garlands or brides Mehndi flowers are gone in a month; however, they should be lifelong gift. Wild flowers are available in abundance; and are free of cost Alina has converted into painting. With minimum resources a sellable profitable item can be made, can be sold online as well as exported. Flowers are first preserved than stitched on canvas, preserved on canvas for varnish and then converted into a painting. Syeda Alina Saeed is one unique artist in the world to utilize real flowers in painting; and in paints. Her paintings are rendered primarily in acrylic and are known for capturing the essence of their locations. Chief Guest Mr.Faisal Karim Kundi inaugurate the exhibition who is currently serving as Minister of State Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Pakistan expressed his joy at such innovative way of generating income as well as developing a name of Art in Pakistan. M. Ayoub Jamali Director General PNCA also attended the show and encouraged the emerging artist. Ms. Saeed said that she is extremely thankful and thrilled for her work to displayed at Pakistan National Arts Council; where there is access for all. Her sole purpose of developing art is to appreciate beauty. Modern work environments need to be places of inspiration, said Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi, creative artists are something that now we are experiencing specially in Pakistan. Organizations choose Alina’s work for interior décor and her paintings bring a strong sense of beauty and vitality to their environments, and that is very good thing that we see.” DG-PNCA M. Ayoub Jamali said that PNCA is dedicated to promote Pakistani Art on local and international scale. He further spoke that our elevate and unique programs that present the traditional and contemporary art practices we reflect upon the excellence and cultural diversity of Pakistan as well as support professional development of the artist. PNCA has maintained a range of regionally focused visual arts exhibitions featuring both nationally and internationally recognized artists. This exhibition will continue till 7th August, 2023. Timings 10am till 4pm.
