England won Multan test by 26 runs against Pakistan
Islamabad(Adnan Hameed)12 December 2022: England has won the Multan test by 26 runs making it their second win against Pakistan. In the three-match series, England secured 2 wins while the last match is scheduled in Karachi. Pakistan was all out on 328 in the second session on the fourth day of the match while chasing the target of 355 to win. Pakistan started their innings on the fourth day with 198 runs for the loss of four wickets, with Agha Salman and Abrar Ahmed at the crease. Faheem Ashraf was dismissed earlier in the day after scoring 10 runs. Later, before losing their wickets, Mohammad Nawaz and Saud Shakeel tried playing sensibly and brought the team closer to the mark. In addition, Abrar Ahmed scored a quick 17 runs, including 4 fours. Yesterday Pakistan ended their third day needing 157 with two full days left. The winning team, England needed 6 more wickets to win the Multan Test while Pakistan needed 157 runs to level the series with the victory.
