Islamabad - 3 September 2024 (Adnan Hameed) : The U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan, Donald Blome, held a meeting today with Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar. Key topics of the meeting included the ongoing protection of Afghan refugees and asylum seekers in the region, enhancing economic cooperation, and strengthening joint efforts in security and counterterrorism. Both sides reiterated their commitment to fostering regional cooperation, which remains a cornerstone of their bilateral relationship.
